House Republicans to Use Recess to Tout Job Creation
House Republican leaders are urging their rank-and-file Members to use next week’s recess to tout their efforts to bolster job creation and get the federal government back in the black. The push comes as GOP leaders try to recast the party’s message to focus it more squarely on the economy.
Please take advantage of this opportunity this week to contact your Representative for an appointment, or attend any event that will give you an opportunity to tell them what their priorities in Congress must be!

Well, maybe they are listening. Keep the pressure up. . . and let's see what direction they take to do this. More tax cuts and cuts to vital programs isn't what we need. They need to be meeting daily with potential employers to hear what they need to start hiring. They also need to start "having our backs" and ENCOURAGING those who wish to hire that they need to be hiring the unemployed. There are currently tax advantages already in place for that.

It must be nice to get paid well and have half the year off while Americans suffer. Now I know why they are all alcoholics. Helps them sleep at night.

Nothing is the one thing done well. That and undoing everything that's already been done.
They need to stop talking tax cuts as a way to create job. They need to stop talking health care repeal as a way to create jobs.
They need to start meeting with potential employers and hearing what they need to start hiring. Serious inquiries only. At this point, anyone who needs more breaks isn't seriously thinking of hiring. You would think our elected officials who are so budget concious would figure that out.
