Hired on Thursday...orientation on Monday!!

After 21 months of job searches and a lot of frustrations I was finally hired on Thursday!! Had the interview at 12:30 pm and a little after 3:00 pm I got the call with a job offer! This is a legitimate retail company but the starting pay is low (still more than I'm getting on unemployment though). There is also a commission attached to each sale so there is a potential to make more money. A ninety day probationary period with benefits afterwards including medical, dental, life insurance, vacation, paid time off. Will involve working flexible hours and the regional manager who hired me said it would involve some days, nights, and of course weekends. She also said I would get 40 hours per week!

I'll let you guys know how orientation was and how the job really is in the next week or two. Please pray that this job works out for me!

Thank you so much for your support!! You guys are an inspiration for so many. I'm a little nervous but after a couple of weeks I will hopefully be back into the swing of things! God bless you all!! Hopefully everyone will have jobs much sooner than later!!

My first week has been packed with new things to learn but I'm up to the challenge. I'm pretty tired today because I had to be at work at 6:00 to help unload the weekly truck. Won't have to be back to work until 2:30 on Friday afternoon and my boss is giving me Sunday off!!
