It's going to be the GOP who ends up on the chopping block. The GOP is out of control and it could prove the rallying cry that forces the American People to revolt against Washington.
Republicans are out of control and their destroying this country ... it's like they just flipped a switch. I just don't understand the logic ... you would think they would be open to compromise but these latest reactions seem to indicate that their on self destruct mode.

The GOP continues with their schoolyard nonsense.....either play the game on our terms or we are going to take our bat and ball and go home. Well, take your ball and bat and hit the road I say. Your whining extortionist tactics are pure BS. Remember 1996 GOP'ers? It didn't work to your benefit then and won't now either. They act like snot nosed brats and need to be taken to the wood shed for a little introduction to a$$ whacking 101.....I say call their bluff.....this could begin the rally that infuses the American people to take back their own country. In the words of the "Orange Man"..."So be it". Let the games begin!!

They are playing a dangerous game. After this, I don't see the American People standing silently by any longer while Republicans continue to threaten the safety and security of our country.
They're no longer looking out for our interests and are using every trick in the book to bully Democrats into doing things their way "or else".

When this happened in the mid-90's, it destroyed Newt Gingrich's political career t the time and turned the Clinton presidency around for the better. Times are different today, we live under tightened security and more people depend on government aid due to the economy. A shut down would be disastrous and an eye-opener to the American people.
Shut the government down! The House will come crashing down right on Speaker Boehner's head.

More info on the possible shut down. President Obama first proposed the budget 404 days ago, since then, there have been 5 extensions. The March 18 deadline is expected to be extended yet again. CNN reports, "Congress is not doing their job!"

More games, bi-partisan ended the day after the Memorial in Arizona. It's a disgrace. This lack of budget has such a huge impact on everything in everyday life and I am beginning to think our elected officials have absolutely no idea how big a deal this is and will panic and blame if they manage to shut the government down. It really has to be up to us to get our voices heard. We need jobs, we need 99er benefit, we need a body of legislators to govern, which is what we sent them to do. They are supposed to be speaking for us. We have to let them know.
Let's also say a prayer for all the families torn apart by the earthquakes and tsunamis. We all wish them the best.
