I'm on Fire
I have 3 face to face interviews tomorrow. One of which sounds super promising as during the phone interview the 2 people said after 20 minutes. "There is no sense in continuing this interview (my heart sank) because it's apparent you'd be a huge asset to our foundation in the Indianapolis area so we want to do a face to face next Wednesday or Thursday when we are in town." Awesome! I will say this though....When I told my kids that daddy might be getting a job to where he will not be home for them they broke into tears but it's all for the best

Re: I'm on Fire
In all my excitement I meant next week. Not tomorrow, sorry
Thanks!
I really want the one for which I have done work for as before which is an admissions advisor because it's got big time growth potential.

Re: I'm on Fire
Quite honestly and here is what I honestly feel it was....I put my current volutneer position as a BETA tester for a program that I am part of for a company as looking like it's my current job and in came the calls.
Now I just have to figure out how to not have them want to contact them?

Re: I'm on Fire
That reminds me of what I did in July 2010...I sent my resume' to a few companies. I email 10 resumes with "laid off" and 10 with "working but looking for new job." The job I wanted called within a day. Unfortunately that job was one of the ones I email as "working but looking for new job." This was just to test the waters on what they were saying about "not hiring the unemployed."
I could not respond to the call I got from the company because I was afraid to be caught, as I said it was only a test on what the word was on hiring the unemployed. So it was no calls for "unemployed" and 3 calls for "employed."
You will think of something. Good luck! Remember sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

I actually do the beta testing for them, however, they are in Germany and really it was just me being known around the forums and such over there that got me the opportunity to beta test. So I know that they won't be able to contact them.
