My last work contract ended 3 months ago now, car barely made it.

Two months ago went looking for car. found car that needed new motor, purchased car at slighlty above scrap value.

Found mechanic who will rebuilt entire car (replace motor) cheap

Long story short is i will have a vehilce good for several years but i have the sloooowwesttt... mechanic in the world.

He is actually putting his people on my vehicle when they are not busy and that why its so cheap

I am torn between being gratefull for the cheap job and anger at the nearly infinite false hopes of the car actually being done..

a week ago it was all done except for hooking up starter, alternater and a few hoses, now we are down to welding a motor mount (always extra surprise work)

the total cost will still be the promised amount but the wait is interminable...

AaaaaH the life of poverty!

God must have a much higher estimation of me than I do as I get a lot of crap thrown my way.....
