things are going to get worst
First topic message reminder :
I fear things will only get worse. With the cuts the government is making, more people will lose their jobs, people that work for companies that contract with the government,. I believe we are in death spiral and more people are going to lose their jobs, and their is going to be much more suffering and misery.
Who will have the money and steady jobs to buy cars, furniture, other luxury items. With less consumption comes less demand, less hiring. How this will end who knows, but it will not be pretty. I'am go glad that i own guns, crime rate is going to skyrocket.

Re: things are going to get worst
I suppose its gibberish to tell people that their well being is not based on government largesse. Telling others to maintain a positive outlook, keep moving forward, to go out there and make it happen, are outdated notions. Using time to your advantage, such as going back to school and doing volunteer and charity work, are useless endeavors. A minimum wage job? Puh-leeeze. Municipalities organizing the long term unemployed in a food for work program? No way! Its much more realistic to expect taxpayers to continue funding unemployment.
DesparateInRI, I can see why you are so bitter to me. The evil Wall Street gang and the big banksters conspired to destroy you. They like me and despise you. You had absolutely nothing to do with it. The only way to fix things is that if I just run my life into the ground and stop telling about all the things that work for me, and many others.

pbrad009, I have removed Superfly's gibberish post and suspended her from this site. DesperateInRI (not Desparate) is a cool dude so let's all relax.
Thanks,
