Banks make money when benefits are cut off
What really makes me angry about benefits being cut off is that some people who are out of funds are forced to use credit cards to shelter and eat. And the very institutions that caused this depression will make big bucks off that. Futhermore, even as the economy recovers, large amounts of disposable income will still be going to the banks to pay off debt caused by the depression. This is money that would otherwise circulate in the economy.
