If you need to laugh about being unemployed.

Hey everyone. I stumbled across this blog, and it's really funny (workinonitinpgh.blogspot.com. Both my husband and I have been unemployed for two years despite constant searching. He has brain cancer and can't receive benefits due to the little bit of money he makes working part-time disqualifying him from getting medicaid. Anyway, when we think we've hit the bottom, the bottom falls out again. With a family to support, the scariness can take over if you let it. I got a lot of laughs out of these postings, but be warned, there's some "bad" language, but then again, I'm sure we've all at least thought these words at some point in our journey.

I'm very sorry about your husband's condition and also about his catch 22 regarding Medicaid.

Thanks Jeff. They are. I know we're not the only ones going through this, and we won't be the last. We're just hoping for some relief soon.

Unemployment is not terrible, terrible is we lost confidence in life.
