Appealing my UI Ruling
I received a letter saying that i was not eligible for benefits because of code 1256 beginning 1/22/12 and continuing until you return to wrk after the disqualifying act and earn $1905.00 or more in bona fide employment, and that i can call and reopen my case.
it also states that i was discharged from my last job. i was given a choice to resign or be terminated. i decided to be fired, but i believe i was fired due to my boss not liking me, they said i caused misconduct, however i was given any proof, a warning, AND i was employee of the month 2 weeks prior.
Also rumors went around that i was gunna be fired. i need to win this appeal and catch up on my mortgage PLUS my first child is due next week...HELP me anyone.

Re: Appealing my UI Ruling
bluedanny,
To cut to the chase, you'd be best to seek legal advice from an employment attorney. But for moral support you came to the right placise.

X is right! I would also look into discrimination because you are pregnant! Contact the National Labor Relations Board in your area to file a complaint about that.
