Global Economy?
http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/global-economy-23-facts-which-prove-that-globalism-is-pushing-the-standard-of-living-of-the-middle-class-down-to-third-world-levels
Here is an interesting article. The points below are tough to read. Does the US worker even have a chance?
#14 In China, working conditions are so bad that large numbers of "employees" regularly try to commit suicide. One major employer, Foxconn, has even gone so far as to install "anti-suicide nets" in an attempt to keep their employees from jumping off of their buildings.
#15 Wages for workers in China are incredibly low. For example, one facility in the city of Longhua that makes iPods employs approximately 200,000 workers. These workers put in endless 15-hour days but they only make about $50 per month.
#16 In Bangladesh, manufacturing workers toil in absolutely horrific conditions and make an average of about $38 per month.
#17 In Vietnam, teenage workers often work seven days a week for as little as 6 cents an hour making promotional Disney toys for McDonald's.
#18 Since 2001, over 42,000 manufacturing facilities in the United States have been closed.
#19 Half of all American workers now earn $505 or less per week.
#20 In the United States today, 6.2 million Americans have been out of work for 6 months of longer.

The global economy is BAD for America. Now if we can get our pitchforks and torches and rout out evil leaders who let this happen.

Those that promote "free trade" can never explain how the U.S. middle class is going to continue to have plenty of jobs in the new global economy.
Yeah Mr. GOP smarmy britches, EXPLAIN THAT?????

I am with you on that, mm, as long as it is peaceful. Things have to change, I know I can't go on like this much longer.

It worked in Egypt. No, we can't give up, we are already in a do or die situation now anyway.

See, with PEACEFUL they can ignore us for a LONG time. Fear is something they need to feel to affect change and right now they don't fear us. On the other hand they have been inflicting FEAR and sorrow on us all for years. Unfortunately PEACEFUL actions are ok to a point but when it falls upon deaf ears you have to take it to the next level. The American Revolution was such a thing. YOU CAN TALK AND PETITION for only so long to failed results. If 5 million people showed up at the DC Mall acting PISSED OFF. That would get SOME attention. yet how many of us can do that???? We need some good old fashon 60's style protests.

We need to find sponsors for buses to DC. The One Nation Rally in October did it all over the country. My bus from RI was sponsored by the NAACP.

How much longer before it people will consider it an "entitlement" to have a good paying job with decent benefits?

Re: Global Economy?
Look if you work in labor and have to compete with other countries that don't require or look at jobs as an entitlement with benefits then your company will go broke and yo won't have a job thanks to Globalization between that and the success of the Unions that is what killed our manufacturing base and it will never come back until those wages elsewhere go up or our come down it would take a world revolution to get back to were we were in the 50's and 60's and even then I think were still sunk

Exactly! It's amazing how many people will insist that the CEOs, CFOs and such deserve their paychecks, while saying the average worker doesn't deserve to be able to put a roof over their head and food on their table for working full time.

Well then capitalism doesn't work either. Need to come up with a NEW system that DOESN'T enslave the workers with crap wages and poor conditions while the TOP gets uber RICH off the backs of said workers toil. So much for the "WE ARE ALL EQUAL" BS.
