Here's Hoping...

After a Year of dead ends, no call backs and few interviews, I think I actually may be on track for a job. Entry Level, Underemployed but full time hours as a Baker/Finisher.

I have been coming up against the end of my UI, and my sleep patterns are strange to say the least. Woke up at 1AM this morning to a panic attack, so figured, May as well put a few applications in. So, 11AM I get a call from a hiring manager asking me if I can make it for an interview at 12. I politely accept and try not to go into shock.

Interview went extremely well, and I have a second interview tomorrow, with the same man, who asked that I bring my Serve Safe Card , SSN Card and Birth Certificate with me, so I take that as a strong possibility of an offer.

The best part, it is right across the street from my house. That is a positive for now, but we'll see how I feel about that in 6 months. It is a start anyway!

If you are the praying king, a few extras would not be unwelcome. Positive Vibes are good too, I do not discriminate!

I don't have anything of materialistic value left anymore...But PRAYERS heck there free so I send out many Prayers & plenty of good vibes too along with a bunch of Namaste's. I am happy to hear at least somebody is having some luck...give me hope.

Thanks All, I am underemployed, but it is a positive difficulty. Easier to upgrade to something if you are currently employed. The prejudice against those out of work is just atrocious.

Underemployment is rough, but not as bad as not working. It's quite a challenge for sure.

Congrats Rookie! I wish you the best in this endeavor. I am working as well and am underemployed. 34 hrs a week at a slaves wage...I am aggresively looking for a better job though.

Thanks JIM. It sure beats a sharp stick to the eye, but not my a heck of a lot. I am grateful for the job that being said. I'm settled into it, and my body is becoming accustomed to it, so the Job Hunt will continue now that I have my feet under me.
