You are absolutely right!
This is nothing short of ridiculous and, of course, with this year being an election year, I anticipate that things will get alot worse before they get better.
Although I lean more towards the conservative side, my personal feeling is that I would rather not have any party affiliation, as it seems that nothing is ever accomplished....it's all bickering as far as I'm concerned.
There are alot of good, honest people out there that are NOT looking for a handout and just need a good, full time job, with benefits that won't break their paychecks.

Election year has its drawback also. Republicans will fight tooth and nail to prevent govt doing anything their voters might disagree with.
