but then i really haven't believed government sources for much of anything since i was about 20yrs old.....and THAT is a real shame in and of itself...

It's about manipulating the numbers so
the politicians don't look like jack a**es. I find it amazing that the republicans are not using this point during the rep debates. Why don't they mention the real numbers? Seems like a perfect time to rub Obamas face in it. I think they are mesmerized by Mittens and Mewt. That sounds like a book or movie name "Mittens & Mewt"

Guess there isn't enough money to line their pockets in it so why bother...
