IMPORTANT !!! Help With Your Mortgage in CA
Everyone, this is good news!!! It is a program to help with your mortgage and stay in your home and if you have to move out there is a program to help with that as well.
For the unemployed it is assistance of up to $3000 per month for up to 9 months to be able to stay in your home.
I heard it on the local news channel last nite.
There are 4 different programs but one of them is specifically for the
UNEMPLOYED !!!

Thanks ! I was so glad to see this last nite I could hardly wait to post it--From the way they were describing the 4 different programs last nite on the news I know this will be a Godsend to many. It is about time the ordinary folk got some help instead of always bailing out the "Banksters" & other financial crooks.

Read the fine print for these programs. Three of the four programs are LOANS that may have to be repaid.
It's been a couple of months since I read the details of these programs, so I cannot remember all of the details of how the loans are structured, but I think they are interest-free, non-recourse loans.

Re: IMPORTANT !!! Help With Your Mortgage in CA
The brochure for this program was given to myself and the other 150 people who were layed off with me in September. It surprised all of us that there was assistance for the unemployed homeowner finally. Too bad they didnt have this set up in 2007-2008 when the bulk of people lost their jobs and then their homes. The 99'ers certainly have paved the way for alot of recently unemployed folks.

What I think will be interesting is seeing what their definition of "hardship" is. One man's "hardship" is another man's "too many resources".
If anyone here goes through the process of trying to qualify for any of these programs, whether you are successful or not, let us know about your experience.
