House plans only 109 workdays in 2012

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-20126778-503544/house-plans-only-109-workdays-in-2012/House Majority Leader Eric Cantor released the 2012 House calendar today, and lawmakers will be spending even less time in Washington next year than they did this year.
There are just six scheduled working days in January. Three in August. And five in October. In all, the House of Representatives is scheduled to be in session 109 weekdays next year, and will be in recess 151 weekdays - meaning recess days will outstrip working days by nearly a 3 to 2 margin.

Which means we need to speak louder. Some are starting to get the message now that they have seen their approval ratings fall to 9%, some obviously haven't.
Unfortunately, if we wait until next year to try and get help, many won't make it. We need the help now.

We can only hope within the 109 days in office, they ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING! Really though, 151 days of recess ? How does this happen ?

I agree, and we pay their salaries. But let's not forget. 2012 - election year. Those whose offices are not up will be stumping for those that are and of course, whoever they come up with to run against the President. Sadly, sunshinemary, that's how it happens.
Could anyone of us get a job and only work basically half a year? on the tax payer? I think not!

With this kind of performance, they all need to be fired. I say throw chains on the doors and make them stay there until they resolve many issues. I don't care what there problem is, There are over 50 million and more former middle class hurting.
