Re: The real Texas miracle
So far, I've been hearing in the mainstream media that most of the jobs created in Texas have been low-paying. I have not heard that the vast majority of these low-paying jobs were filled by immigrants, but it just stands to reason. I'm sure as the rep candidates continue to beat eachother up during the election cycle, these facts will surface during the debates and commercials.

The state’s unemployment rate spiked to 8.5 percent in August, a jump from 7.7 percent from June 2009, the date Mr. Perry himself has chosen as a starting point for the job-growth phenomenon he frequently describes on the campaign trail.
Over the same period, the national unemployment rate has actually fallen by four-tenths of one percentage point to 9.1 percent, a rate that nevertheless remains above that of Texas. So the gap between the nation’s high unemployment rate and Texas’s rate has been narrowing.
The Texas-as-job-machine message also hit a bump on Friday when the state’s work force commission reported that Texas actually lost 1,300 jobs during August, the first decline in nearly a year.
What the heck Tristen Move on Trolls. What is the matter hate hearing the truth Its time to step out of the bubble you reside in.

I don't like Perry; I love the truth when it's not spun propaganda. I don’t live in the partisan bubble on this site that some do. If there are right wing trolls on this site as some describe then there are left wing troll apologists too, especially based off some of the spirited but misguided and less then honest spun posts that pop up from time to time supporting the above.
I understand the left and know the demographic make-up of progressives and Dems.

I believe you are more center left than even you think.
Who is more dangerous for the country the progressives or the Tea Party?

Starting to think we are our own worse enemy. We sit back, watch the political games and do nothing.

I have one simple question that I would really like answered.
How can you vote for the party that wanted to deny you benefits you needed so badly? That is what turned me HARD LEFT!

Sideline politicians and journalists at large with time ill spent.
