Re: FBI Raids 'Connected' Energy Firm Solyndra
The CBO just did a report and the GDP went from a NEGATIVE 8.9% to a positive 1.9% with 2.9 million jobs added. Some of the tea party Governors like Rick Scott did not take the money KNOWING people need jobs. Sorry 1208 the stim worked it need to be bigger and supported but the tea party threw awrench in the works to make Obama look bad.
You want a Jobs bill here it is. End the Bush tax cuts, Big Oil subsidies and corporate jet tax breaks and use that money for JOBS!

1208 you are just fishing for an argument. Some of us are just too tired to engage. Have a good night.

The argument you were looking for (which is the right discussion) is as to whether or not it was money will spent as per the cost per job. To Get Thems point please digest the following:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/ezra-klein/post/did-the-stimulus-work-a-review-of-the-nine-best-studies-on-the-subject/2011/08/16/gIQAThbibJ_blog.html
The argumetn can be made that more stim would have had more of an effect but at what cost is the right discussion to have. Was that the best bang for the buck or did we over pay. As far as working read the link as far as bang for the buck that would depend on whether you got a job out of it, or your job was saved or you had to pay for that job while secure in your job.

Re: FBI Raids 'Connected' Energy Firm Solyndra
several points: Once again Obama throwing money at green projects ad 500+ million and no jobs, no money and bankruptsy and laying off 1000 workrs and Obama touted it as all the greatness it would have! Something FISHY! But now the first failure of his stimulus and also failure of his big speech stimulus having NO RESULTS! My problem is why is it always the tea party and repubs. EVERY TIME HE FAILS! That should tell one somethin! Nothing GOOD whatsoever he has done with booming or even moderate success. But in his defense its tea partiers or repubs. of I inherited this and more. Never stops! Is that th best he can do! BTW! Doesn't it bother many that his stimulus money at the roads, rail, bridges and such has been touted as putting tens of thousands of construction workers back to work!!! What about the other 14,000 million unemployeds??? It ain't going to create jobs all over. I said it before he is throwing money at target subjects and the results will be seen if at all on those target subjects. The rest of the economy will not take off! Guess arguing aside 2012 will hold the answers. Just saying!!!

I am changing the title to the actual title of the article. This is based on corrpution. If you want to find that just google GOP, BUSH CHENEY and ENRON. If you really think Obama would support what they did you are very wrong.

Lets see! Several ways to look at this: The saying the stimulus saved millions of jobs, hell I hope it did! Because Obamas tenure has LOST 2.5 million jobs net! Since he took office! So if pumping money into phoney programs and that helped save a few jobs for a while, I guess in the short term it saved some jobs! HELLO, is saving jobs!( well keeping keeeping things from being worse than they were), But isn't stimulus suppose to create millions of jobs as his great speeches said. With no positive results in job creation and still 2.5 million jobs net lost , heck he better save as many jobs as he can! I guess they worked meaning not let things get any worse ! Now with 120 thousand postal workers planned layoff's and BOA planning on 30,000 job cuts and it ain't over. Hello, get the picture!!! IT AIN"T WORKING. Now for the repubs. and tea party excuses, heck, take them out of the equasion and tell me something good? Hello, get the picture! BTW! He makes big speeches about companies staying in America and yet does nothing to keep them here or put the heat on them! But again, BIG TALK!

You only have two words in your vocab blame Obama. Not matter what he does. Even his jobs plan.
I love how Gov. Perry lies about the Stimulus that created zero jobs when HE TOOK THE MONEY AND CREATED HIS JOBS with HIS SO-CALLED TEXAS MIRACLE. He just forgets to tell the Tea PArty and the rest of the GOP that little tidbit of his Texas Miracle.

Getthem, I understand your points. But it isn't ALWAYS 100% all the time repubs. and tea partiers etc! Obama has lots of power and yet he is so weak he can't get anything done! Where are his gonads! Or brains! Hey, If 2012 holds a great recovery and jobs are being created every month that leads to a recovery, I wash your rolls, maintain your mansion and walk the poodles so you can work your new job!

I am not big poodle fan. A would be robber would laugh. George my puppy is now 60 something pounds and a handful. He will be 10 months on Friday. He is half lab and half Amercan Bulldog and all Muscle and attitude.
I do agree Obama needs to stop taking the BS from the GOTP.
