I don't think this is going to fix their problems. Hasn't Walmarts been having problems lately? Walmart is suffering from profit losses because Family Dollar stores are doing to Walmart what Walmart had done to Target and other retailers.
They've already announced plans to start lowering the costs on some of their merchandise.

As much as I hated what WalMart did to the small stores. Having the Dollar stores can make it better, because big is not always better. Walmart stores are just too big, especially for small towns. The smaller stores will have less overhead and only sells what is moving and cheap.
