Does anyone know of a forum to go to for grief support?
Think I'm going nuts here. Funeral for mom is Thursday and I'm getting no support from my 3 brothers or immediate family. I've been sick all day throwing up and when I called a girlfriend who was driving from the eastern shore (MD) she got pissed when I told her I wasn't well and won't be up for company and she hung up on me.
Is it me or what!?

I'm so sorry! I remember you from the original friends forum. I posted this scripture to one of your posts, which touched you...Habakkuk 3:17-19
17 Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.
19 The Sovereign LORD is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to tread on the heights.
I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom! I remember you talking about her all the time! Please PM me here to talk anytime. I do work a FT temp job, but am free during the evenings.
Blessings, comfort and peace to you in your time of loss. May our Lord and savior Jesus Christ carry you now, hold you close and lift you up in his arms so your pain is eased.

rhionnanj, it most certainly isn't you. These are stressful times and going through a loss of a Mother is more so. When my Mom passed three years ago, it was tough, tempers flare, people do things that are just wrong. Sometimes they don't mean to, they just do. It was very tense for us then and a few family situations didn't help at all. Just keep remembering the good things about your Mom and let the rest do their thing. We are all here for you. I will check on a grief support network for you right now, until then, post away here, we will gladly listen.
Prayers for you and your Mom.

Call the Suicide Prevention Lifeline, it also serves as a crisis line.
You don't have to be suicidal to call them. Heck, I call them when I can't sleep at night because something has me brooding just to double check that I'm not losing my bananas.
You can talk to someone who will listen to you. Call it as much as you need and don't be afraid of it.

rhionnanj,
Did some checking. I don't know if you are on Facebook, but there is a page for people who have lost a parent. May want to check it out.

Thanks guys for the links. They're a great help. I came across this youtube vid by Martina Mcbride today. It's called "In My Daughters Eyes". Warning it's a real tear jerker.
