Cardinal Aluminum, UPS among companies looking to expand (KY)
"....UPS...The building will completed next year and is expected to result in 116 new jobs, most of which will pay $11.20 to $12.75 an hour.... UPS had already planned its third healthcare facility on the campus, which will open this year and result in 53 jobs
Cardinal Aluminum, an aluminum extrusion company at 6910 Preston Highway, is considering expanding and adding 87 jobs paying an average hourly wage of $14.50, inlcuding employee benefits.
BioNeutral Group, the new company is focused on selling and distributing the cleaning and odor elimination products that its parent company makes. The subsidiary is considering moving to Louisville, which would create 23 jobs at an average pay of $50 an hour, including benefits.
Other companies approved for incentives include:
-San Jose, Calif.-based SpiralEdge, a software services and web apparel retailer, which is considering Shepherdsville for an operations center that would employ 110 at an average of $12.51 an hour with benefits, the state minimum for incentives.
-Media communications company NetWorld Alliance, which may create 10 new jobs at its Louisville office paying $15.93 an hour, including benefits.
-Louisville-based Payment Alliance International, which provides credit, debit and check processing and ATM management, may add 25 jobs at $30 an hour, including benefits.
-Katayama American may expand its Shelbyville facility where it builds automotive door sash assemblies and trim moldings, adding 22 jobs paying $20 an hour, including benefits.
-Also in Shelybville, metal stamping and planting operations provider Shelby Industries is looking to add equipment and grow its customer base. It may add 10 jobs at $14 an hour, including benefits.
