Well, you know that they can't reduce anything that actually makes a difference. Things like subsidies to oil companies and even the development of new weapons. We are fighting people that are one step above rock throwing, why do we need brand new weapons to beat them?

Oil is our God with the US eceonmy based off it we have given up control of our destiny to those who produce it or have it. The new weapons systems actually have developed better body armor and IED resistant vehicles as well as better weapons systems for urban warfare and to counter China. The question should be why are we still fighting a war and why are the rules of engagment from the present admin so bad and do those rules create a situation where the conflict is prolonged.

It's good to see you again Tristen.
The rules of engagement seem bad because we are still fighting wars in the same way we always have for the most part. I think we should fight the war in less obvious ways. We should be fighting behind the scenes and have a lot less troops doing it. Maybe have people with specific black ops training to accomplish the same goal.
