No thanks, really wish they had brought up the time we spent up here showing the forum and that part of the interview, but I'll take what we can get and boy am I glad no accompanying photos. I didn't even get the confirmation that this was going to run. Thanks for finding. I checked about an hour ago and didn't find it.

Im wondering if she split the story up into segments. they do that a lot.
You did a great job representing the 99ers and all long term unemployed. We are very proud of you

You did us proud, MaryKay! I wish we could send you to Congress...Actually, now that I am thinking about it, there's an awful lot of untapped talent here that would be far more useful in congress, than some of the current yahoos.

thanks for the vote of confidence couth. I wanted more of what we did on the forum to be included, but at least it was about the 99ers and not just the unemployed as a whole, not that I am choosing sides, but we need some publicity.
As far as Congress goes, may I quote theWeeper of the House "HELL NO", I'd be in jail after 15 minutes with Eric Cantor or Paul Ryan. Smug is not my middle name and I find as I get older, I have very little time for the Do as I say not as I Do crowd. I have never hit anyone in my life, not kidding, not even when we were kids, I'd had to break my streak and I think I would in DC. Not that I think I could be elected. I am not an economist, lawyer or schooled in politics either and I think you do have to have that kind of experience, if we've learned nothing, it's that people like the Tea Party have no experience in dealing with the Country's problems because we are part of a large world and as the US goes so does the world, economically speaking. I don't have that experience and wouldn't feel right about voting for or against things that could have far reaching affects that could hurt us because I didn't have that knowledge. This deficit is a perfect example. We have some freshmen in Congress that think, so what, let is go, the rest of the Financial World is holding their breath. I don't know all the ramifications of defaulting, but know it wouldn't be good. But I can make everyone on this forum a promise, I will not give up this fight, even if we should not win, I will not stop until it is known by all just how many of us are being ignored. I was really scared this morning, now that it's over, I would do it again and again until we get some notice. Thanks for the support, but it's for all of us.

MaryKay, thank you very much for putting yourself out there, maybe you will get a job as well because of the interview. Not easy letting strangers into your life, but you did it with so much inner determination, it came out in the piece perfectly. Thx again.

1208 It wasn't overrided, it was merged because there were two. I came late to the table, you found it before I did. Thanks 1208 and thanks exhausted, I didn't know it would be there at all. If we could just get it in front of the right eyes now, it would help. Caution, skip the comments section, it will just give you a headache.
