The Unending Period of Unemployment
This is now a very problematic area for some.
It is kind of discouraging, and very depressive to see
other people head out to work and able to do things while you
stuck around the house.
What make it more pitiful is that you are doing all that you can legally to get a job, but it yields either no results or worsen your outlook on life.
You are also bombarded by bills and family with their sarcasm, criticism, and down right nasty attitude.
You understand that you feel as though you are a financial burden, but what do they expect from you?
You stressed and highly irritable, but they have to understand the circumstances that their is no end to this unemployment situation.

Re: The Unending Period of Unemployment
at times I think you took the words right out of many others' mouths, well said. Overcoming and dealing with this Im learning is what will make or break me, and plan to somehow come out on right end of this, not sure how, when, or where 100%, but starting to envision it, just that added education doesn't appear to be as realistic as option as would want it, and having doubts at times that is the cure to end all of my unemployment problems.

Re: The Unending Period of Unemployment
mj33 I am the same, feel like so many of the posts fit my situation.
I also relate to the envisioning of getting through it and thriving.
I hope it is soon that things are much better for you and all of us.
Take Care

Re: The Unending Period of Unemployment
Thank You all and It is possible it might get a little better.
I just wish that we can do what our government refuses to do.
If we band together we can change what is going on.
We need to be self-employed instead of making money for someone else.
It just a idea, since the only way to make any income is this.

Now we can understand why there are prostitutes. They are self employed and have something to sell, which men want.
Even if we have a product, who is going to buy it?

Hang in there casheyes, I know it seems as if things will never improve but they will.
Re: The Unending Period of Unemployment
It does not get better. It only goes on and on and on and on. The longer one is out of the job market. The less likely the person is to get hired. But the fact is that there are very few jobs in the USA at present. Mostly low ball jobs paying minimum wage. Unless, you can relocate on a dime and apply for jobs on oil rigs in ND, Texas..that is about it.
Outsourcing of jobs has killed the job market in the USA. Over 10 million jobs have left this country, and millions more have been deleted from the white collar sector. This is what today is like in America.
