This is nuts. There are almost never tornadoes in NC as bad as the ones we had a couple weeks ago. There are often bad tornadoes in Alabama but it's early in the year for that. Mother nature is fighting back kids.

That was horrible. Mother nature certainly seems to be fighting back lately. Every natural weather phenomenon seems to be magnified by a factor of 3 or more.
Prayers for the families effected by this.

I'm a 79er. We don't get 99 weeks here in Mississippi. I received my last check last Monday. Still no job. My area was hard hit by the tornadoes and now floods which has made it even harder to get a job due to many more displaced workers. I've only been able to live week to week. No income now means I will lose everything. Things are not getting better here.

While staying at my sister's yesterday while she's away and I am dog sitting, we had another heavy thunderstorm. Power was out for a couple of hours, cable and internet went out as well, as of midnight we had power, no cable and internet and I was feeling sorry for myself, I couldn't reach the forum.
About the 14th of April, we were flooded out of our rental home in NJ and returned about May 13th. It was hard and nerve wracking, but this morning I started to think that at least I had a home and Rich to go to.
We all need to take a moment and say a prayer or have a good though and wish for the many families destroyed by the freakish number of storms and tornados we are experiencing. We hope God will bless their families and friends and guide them to a fast recovery.
