Alan Grayson: Rick Scott Wants A Tax Cut For Rick Scott
Alan Grayson (D-Fla.) explains the real reason why Florida Governor Rick Scott is pushing to eliminate corporate taxes and cut education funding in Florida. Grayson tells MSNBC's Cenk Uygur that Scott is "taking money out of children's pockets dollar for dollar so he can stuff it in his own."

Sadly, this is what happens when people vote with emotion and some people choose to NOT vote. We have to really make sure from now on, we are very careful in our voting process. It's clearly up to us to keep things like this from continuing to happen across the country. We, the unemployed and the 99ers, have learned a lot through this "economic downturn", and a big lesson we learned is to listen to who represents us and what those we elect really stand for and what they interpret to be what the American People want. We keep hearing "the American People have spoken", but apparently they didn't hear what WE said.

I've become so disgusted by the outright campaign of disinformation to voters that volunteering my time to "get out the vote" for 2012 is imperative. I've also begun to review all my saved articles debuncting the disinformation campaigns to realize I possess an astounding list of "talking points" to share with friends that can then share with their friends. That may be one of the most powerful grassroots effort I can contribute to helping people think long and hard about their vote in 2012. I'd challenge all our members to consider creating a "talking points" email to share with their friends too. It's easy to create. Just start with links to "major press statements" of fear and disinformation and then link to the LEGITIMATE sources of FACTUAL information relating to the crazy "press statements". Conclude it with "X" amount of press statments made by our politicians and "x" amount of factual reporting explaining the truth about disinformation campaign. (Wisconsin's public records suits alone has multiple opportunities). If you build about 15 of them it starts to become clear how little honesty is provided the voters and how critical it is that voters know these FACTS before voting in 2012.
