Yeah, that chat is crazy. Don't know if you caught any of the live feed from the helicopter but I couldn't believe how many people were in the streets when I heard the guy in the helicopter say there was 7k I LOL but he works for fox news. He also called it "nonsense"

It's a great show of solidarity and brings matters that concern us to the forefront, but with crowds this large I worry that there will be a very sad ending with life lost.
I would just suggest that we keep our understandable zest for this moment intertwined with the hope and communication of safety for all people concerned, including the good police and safety officials that are just doing their job.

I was thinking... with all the media coverage now, it may be less likely that violence will occur. Of course we all want them to be safe, that goes without saying. 
On the live feed chat we are all making comments such as "peaceful protest" "keep it safe, no violence" etc...
TBH Im not worried about the protesters getting violent, its the police brutality we keep hearing about that gets me worried
BUT with MSM around, I think its less likely to occur

A Kentucky Republican has posted a rather disturbing comment on Facebook about the Wall Street protesters. Steve Frank, city commissioner of Covington, Kentucky apparently feels like killing the protesters occupying Wall Street just as the Taliban feels like killing American soldiers in Afghanistan.
In a post on October 9th, Frank wrote, “Turn out the lights on the Occupiers, I feel like going Taliban on them!!! The Taliban, as they see it is resisting occupation. I am resisting the Occupiers and very proud to be a 1%’er. I figured that the irony would be lost on most of the dummies in Occupation Nation who oppose the war in Afganistan because they see us as occupiers. I happen to oppose the war too but for highly different grounds. PS I am proud of our troops and have a son in harm’s way.”
