Every second, more than one person loses his or her emergency unemployment benefits. Please take action: Tell Congress this is totally unacceptable.

Please take time out of your day to contact the individuals listed below. Don't assume everyone else is going to. We need EVERYONE to participate in order to get this through.

help. The Clock is Ticking 34243

I spent the morning calling and emailing everyone on the contact list. We need to be heard today. All of us, together, need to join as one voice, now more than ever. Congress must act. We need the support of everyone, both on Capitol Hill, and right here on this forum.

Please, everyone lend your voice to the cause of HR 589. We need it to be passed. We need to demand it is given attention. Remember to be respectful in your contacts. Angry words will not get the attention we need. We must represent the unemployed (ourselves and everyone else) as intelligent individuals who are truly willing and able to contribute to society once again. Call or email today! This is a critical time and we can't let it slip away.
