Hello all. I've been away
First topic message reminder :
I'm not sure if anyone around remembers me but I've been away for sometime. I've been employed for the past year and worked one full time and one part time job. Now at the end of the July with Federal budget cuts, I am once again unemployed. Just filed for UI again and I'm better shape than I was in 2009. Unfortunately this country is still in the crapper. I guess I need to fine a new gig, just getting one that last a few years is the trick.

I totally agree with you, some people are totally oblivious to how bad it is out there. Now i am employed, but my husband has been suffering on and off unemployment for 2 years, so I'am totally aware. If it wasn't for me working, we would be on the streets.
It is very demoralizing to live this way, not knowing when he will work again, I cannot pay all of the bills with my salary, I cannot get food stamps either, so we are stuck. Companies do not want to hire, even if they need to, the would rather hire temps. It reallly is very bad out there.
