Unemployment claims drop to a four-year low
The jobs report said applications for unemployment aid dropped 14,000 to a seasonally adjusted 351,000, according to the Labor Department. That matches a four-year low reached last month. The four-week average, which smooths fluctuations, was unchanged at 355,750.

Or folks like me who are severely under employed. I've been applying like a mad man to decent jobs now that I have almost a year recent employment and zero interviews.

Horrible!
Where do they get these numbers from and who are they counting?
I've come to the conclusion that applying doesn't work.
And Linked In is an upgraded version of Facebook.
All seem useless.

The administration is obviously cooking the books in order to give Obama a better shot at getting re-elected, however not even the republican candidates are calling them out on it. A violation this serious warrants an investigation, and those responsible should be thrown in jail.
The problem is, both parties do the same thing, just like with the inflation figures, where they conveniently omit food and energy. Both parties are corrupt, accountable only to themsemves, and their members only interested in keeping their "jobs".
