You know it sounds good, and I think the intention is good. But, it is not as helpful as I thought.
I checked into a program to get a better interest rate with the bank I am with, and unfortunately since I am unemployed they will not allow for the change in interest rate. I understand that banks have to protect themselves, but how is this helping those of us who were responsible, bought a small reasonably priced home, pay on time, even when unemployed, only to be skipped offer with the programs to help.
It is just like the health insurance reforms which somehow always miss those of us who really need some help.
I am beginning to wonder if the rules/guidelines are not purposely designed to exclude me and others.
