Boehner says ready to cut budget deal today
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20110515/pl_nm/us_usa_debt?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitterHouse of Representatives Speaker John Boehner on Sunday said he is ready to cut a deal on raising the debt limit if only President Barack Obama would get serious about spending cuts.
Obama warned that congressional failure to raise the debt limit could lead to a worse financial crisis than 2008-09 and urged that debate stay separate from spending cuts.
Both sides stuck to their well-staked out positions, showing little evidence of movement.
Boehner and fellow Republicans warned of dire consequences to the economy if the debt limit is not linked to spending cuts and deficit reduction.
"I'm ready to cut the deal today. You know, we don't have to wait until the 11th hour," Boehner said on CBS's "Face the Nation."

Serious on Spending Cuts really means to Bonehead cut " ALL" social programs once and for all. He's challenging Obama to cross that line.
When Bonehead PUTS Defense and Foreign aid for CUTS on the table then Obama should talk.

Don't worry, he had probably had a "few" when he made that statement. He won't remember he said that tomorrow.

I promise to make this the New Cut and return "To the times of Herbert Hoover again. We don't need no welfare state. Everybody pulled his weight." Sung to All in the Family TV song.
