Sad Billboard

In NJ we have electronic billboard that feature "Wanted" notices. Today I saw one that struck me. It was a notice for a 60 yr old skinny man wanted for bank robbery. I took one look at his picture and I swear he looks like a 99er.

The look on his face was one of desperation and guilt, not greed. I am sure he was a 99er. I also think if he got caught he wouldn't mind because that means 3 squares and a roof with about 30,000 "Big House-mates"

But here's the the funny thing, because I think he's a 99er I fell in love with his outlaw mystic like we do when watching Goodfellas or the Sopranos. I can see and hope he is driving down the coast in a convertible with a trunk full of money like at the end of the Shawshank Redemption.

I actually find myself rooting for the bad guy if he's a 99er. I hope he gets away with the bank's money.

I know how you feel, troy. Sad it has come to this.

In my opinion he isn't really the bad guy.


After all they have stole from us we ALL should be robbing banks.

Just imagine if all 99ers, or 83ers in my case, joined together and just robbed banks.

Glad you said it. I was afraid to, and I totally agree. Never thought I would actually think this way, but the way we have been screwed around and ignored for so long, it has driven many to do things like this. It is called "Survival".
