Please Help With Benifit Year end

My next day to claim is Feb 28th but my benefit year ends Feb 21st... So what happens? am I going to get paid? I am only in like tier 2.. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated

You will have to call and talk to someone. Its not a big deal you will get paid. Call them on the now don't wait.

Thanks. I have called 3 times and keep getting different info. My benifit year ended yesturday the 21st... I claim on the 28th. One person told me i will get paid both weeks cause i still have a ballance (900 dollars) , one person told me i will get paid one week on the 28th then they will have to try to re certify me. One person said I will not get paid either weeks because they will have to recertify on the 28th and that takes 7 days. Im so frustrated not knowing

there use to be another number on here that you could call other then the 2418 number. but now those posts are gone?

I forgot to call when my time came up. When I went to check for the cash it was not there so I called and got 2 checks the next week. Hope this helps.

You can go online to find the numbers from your state. I only know NYs. If you are from NY I can give you the number.

Yeah that is the best number to use in FL they usually know what they are talking about Unlike some of the Rep's i have talked to at the number it say's to call on the AWI site. I usually hit 0 at the beginning of menu, usually someone picks up

Now i just called and was told doont worry about it cause bennifit year end dosent affect you when you are in a tier extension only if you are on your original 26 week claim. arrrrgggg.. Now i know that cant be true.. why oh why is it so hard to get a right or at least consistant answers from them :-(

I think that's how they determine your benefit year is that it affects your initial state claim of 26 weeks of benefits. The benefit year does not affect your F-EUD benefits because while the state issues those checks out, they're actually funded by the Federal government.

You can also email your ? to Ms. Dixon at GlondetraDixon@flaawi.com be sure to give her your name, last 4 of your SS# and your phone# and she usually calls or emails within minutes. Of course you can call and ask for her too. She is great, helped me out a while back when I needed it.

You can also try Robby.Cunningham@flaawi.com he was over Ms. Dixon and was of help also. Leave the same info with your emailed question..name last 4 of SS# and phone #. He may not be there either..but he was great b4. Good Luck!
