I thought they were the party of the "family" and so called pro life but what they are proposing is not pro life.

There were times as a kid I had to rely on free lunches at school. My parents never got food stamps but lunch program helped me.

It's so easy for them to focus on not leaving huge deficits for future generations but they completely ignore those who, thanks to them, will have no future. Potential children have more value to them than actual children do. It's sickening.

Well, somebody check the weather in HE** because I agree with Al Sharpton, which has NEVER happened before. Food stamps and striking are two nonrelated issues. What will it be next no food stamps if you are a 99er?- and yes I think they would go there. I was a teacher before all this school budget cutting and there are already kids going hungry. If they start putting these kinds of conditions on food stamps it will be abused for any hot button political issue and hunger will rise. Talk about keeping the poor and unemployed in their place!!

Love this USA government: need to raise taxes bring out "it's for the kids" card, put the $ in a general fund, raid that to line politicians pockets, need budget cuts, close the programs that benefit kids!
This idiotic cycle HAS to STOP!
Go out and buy that lottery ticket if you still believe it actually funds education!@!%^&
