Humanitarian Crisis? Start looking in your own back yard, Mr. President!
When I saw this picture and headline, "Humanitarian Crisis" in big, bold letters on the front page of the Huffington Post, I thought for a second that the issues facing millions of Americans to day were finally being recognized. Then I read the caption beneath the picture. "One Million in Libya may need Emergency Aid"!
How many millions of Americans need emergency aid right now? What does it take for them to look in their own back yards and see the suffering our citizens are enduring right now.
Wake up, Washington - take care of YOUR citizens FIRST!
This really makes me mad! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/

If the unemployed bled oil maybe they would come to our rescue?

Unfortunately, we are not "oil wells". We are living, breathing, starving, soon to be or already are, homeless Americans. There are MILLIONS of us. I guess because we are "Americans" we don't count. Maybe we'd receive some assistance if we moved to Libya!

Ditto that DIRI. Politicians are like hoarders when it comes to sympathy. They don't finish taking care of what they have (us), yet they gather more to care about as if it were a form of treasure. Or that we should twinkle like little jewels. Oye!

I think all of our policy makers should watch our video of the day, Hard Times Generation - Homeless Children. AMERICAN HOMELESS CHILDREN OF THE UNEMPLOYED!
