Does applying to a foreign job position count as 1 of the 3 required weekly job search contacts?
I live in Seattle, WA. Will applying to a job in Vancouver, Canada count as one of my three required weekly job search contacts? Or must they be domestic?

That is up to the state's job search requirements. Each state is different. Check with your state's unemployment office. In my opinion, it would considered a valid part of your job search, IF you are sincerely willing to take it. Putting it down just to meet requirements can come back to haunt you.
