Where are all the Unemployed
Where are all the Unemployed???
I remember back in 2008, 2009, 2010 how the unemployed rallied in the thousands contacting their reps and posting on many different sites. Now, nothing.

Re: Where are all the Unemployed
Many have lost homes and are now homeless. A huge number no longer have access to internet. Some are just so busy struggling to survive they don't check in anymore or are not able to.
Some have died.
I think we all realized after fighting the good fight and contacting reps repeatedly that it was ineffective. We have been ignored and forgotten for some time now.
Where have you been? Whats up with you?

Re: Where are all the Unemployed
For all those looking for work, I really do hope that you try looking at an employment agency. I was able to get access to the best jobs in new york city, when I thought that I was really not going to find anything for quite a long time.
When I was looking for jobs in new york the best resource I cam across was employmentcrossing.com. I was referred to a ton of employers right away and instantly got access to the hiring managers instead of just getting the go around a hundred times over. It was incredibly beneficial. Good luck to all those looking for work.

Re: Where are all the Unemployed
Those that are still surviving (and there are several 99ers still kicking) are either on facebook, busy networking (although that doesn't come up with much regardless of the hype), lost houses and are either living with relatives, supported by a working spouse, or homeless.....given into depression and filed for SS Disability.....or for the few, got a decent job and now spend their time doing what they did before the crash.....
