MASSACHUSETTS Regular unemployment ended.......How to get onto Tier1..and then?
Sorry to probably ask a question that has been no doubt beaten into the ground, BUT, I just got a message on my web cert that I have exhausted benifits (my account last week showed plenty of $$ there still...but now its gone). I called the teleclaim # 1 877 626 6800, and if I did it correctly machine said call back wed, as my ss ends in 6. This was a little unnerving as I thought I had at least another 5-6 weeks of $$ left so I was gonna call sometime soon before i thought the $$ was gone and get ahaid of it a little, but now I guess I have to just "get it done". Is Tier 1 "automatic" if you are still unemployed ? Can someone tell me the prompts to hit.....The mesage does not mention applying for tiers so I assumed to use the customer service prompts...but....maybe its like a new unemployment application...???... Just dont want to be in a run around circle all day when I could be checking on jobs! Thanks for any and all help very much!!!!

Moving to another Tier is not automatic in some states. You have to call. Please call the center on Wednesday, if that is what they instructed you to do! If you don't, you may have to wait until next week!
