Craigslist tends to be a first stop for people, and not just because they're hoping to waste time sifting through ads for Ikea castoffs and 1980s McDonald's drink ware. People are using Craigslist in their search for part-time gigs as well as full-time employment, and for good reason: More than 1 million job listings are posted on Craigslist every month.

Never mind the job ads, but what about the job wanted ads. I saw an ad for a handyman who was willing to work naked for either men or women. Sounds interesting and cool but the underlying theme behind the ad was that he was unemployed and desperate and not just doing it for a thrill. That was my take on it.
