one of the current things is to give you a court appearance and then charge you with contempt for failure to show up...

fines and such may or may not be jail able offense in your state....

contempt is...and then of course more costs added...

i know several people who own 1,000's because they couldn't pay a simple case that initially cost less than 200.00$
