Real Wages Collapse Nearly 50%
This chart, which you probably won't see in the mainstream media, illustrates the monstrous drop in real wages for the typical worker over the past few decades. The blue line represents wages that have been adjusted for the real cost of living (i.e. calculating the cost of living with food and fuel included, and without statistical hanky-panky).
The unemployment rate, when measured honestly, is more than 22% - comparable only to the Great Depression.
