:x I don't know if any of you have read the story about the banker, who left a 1% tip to a waitress, along with a note that says "Get a Real job." I never understood why people in a position of wealth and power can behave like such an a-hole, and get away with it?

Maybe it's the banker who should get a real job. As it is, if you work as a waitress/waiter, you usually get paid below minimum wage, but you make your money on tips. Ideally, if you do a good job, you get better tips. So perhaps the banker should work as a waiter, and see how much He makes in tips. I bet he wouldn't be able to hack it!

Someone suggested they give him a chocolate pie, like the one in the movie "The Help." (If you haven't seen it, and you don't get it, rent it.)

Or maybe do all sorts of gross things to his food, like the did in the movie "Waiting."

Well, in all seriousness, being rich is no excuse for being disrespectful.

Wow, what an asshole. As a banker, you'd at least expect the ignorant shit to know that 1% of 133.54 is 1.3354, which rounds up to 1.34.

back when i delivered pizza, that was what i would say if i got no tip..hope you choke on it....

more than once i had a small child hand me way too much money (stuck twentys) and i would straighten out the money.....


when i didn't get a tip in that situation....i always felt sorry for the child...to live in such a home....

So it turns out this was a hoax. The receipt was edited in Photoshop.

Anyone who would use the story of one shady individual to judge the credibility of a group probably wasn't giving said group much credit to begin with.
