News Alert: Senate defeats short-term measure to fund government
The Senate on Friday, 59 to 36, defeated a GOP-authored short-term funding measure designed to keep the government running through mid-November, ratcheting up the pressure on party leaders to resolve an impasse on federal disaster relief funds ahead of a deadline at the end of next week.

I am sick of these stupid games. That is all they are - GAMES! How many times this year has there been a threatened government shutdown, or default? All this does is delay Congress from facing the most critical issue today - the economy and jobs!
Why do we sit back and let this happen?
Why do we sit back and let this happen?

All photo ops to go back home and say "hey I'm on your side see" how I voted. Both sides work it out before they ever vote.
As long as there are fierce partisan defenders of the party this BS will go on because partisan zombie backers don't think……….just spew the talking points and propaganda there masters tell them too.
