Congratulations to the Tea Party for a great victory. Congratulations to President Obama and Democrats for another brilliantly executed surrender. Condolences to the jobless whose plight will become even worse after this deal. Condolences to the American economy which will be damaged by this deal.

Let's be clear: Speaker Boehner could not deliver enough Republican votes. He was some 40 votes short. At the very moment when Democrats had leverage they still caved and asked for and received nothing in return.

Good to know he is the only one responsible for this mess. Now I only have to worry about voting him out in 2012. Rolling Eyes

Oh! Lots of repubs. going to vote for him because he said he is for tax cuts for all including the middle class. He'll offset that by cutting entitlements and unemployment!! Boy lets all vote for him!

Shocking, he has some agenda that he has not told his supporters that is for sure. His he thinking of starting another party, or what, guess he's in the middle, so what does that make him, a Centrist?

Vote all of them out! Vote for every independent if necessary!

If successful, that would give us a Republican President, a Republican Senate, and a Democratic House. California would be represented in the House by a flock of Republicans, and Texas by a bunch of Democrats.
