U.S. Jobs, Economy Largely Considered Country's Most Pressing Issues
In Washington, talks center around whether and under what conditions lawmakers should raise the nation's debt ceiling. Elsewhere, though, Americans find themselves more preoccupied with the state of the broader economy and, more specifically, jobs.

Like we all have been saying, they are not listening. We all know the debt ceiling has to be raised as it always has without much hooohaaa, but now the new "freshmen" have decided to be on tv every chance they get, so let the hooohaaa begin.
We need jobs and additional benefits and then we can spend and the economy grow. It really is that simple. With this many people out of work and a portion of them not receiving any benefits at all, not spending, and the government paying close to $4 of everyone's income, what do they think, we won't have debt?????
Wake up Washington, DC. Jobs!!!Jobs!!!Jobs!!!

If more people were working they'd have more revenue, so it looks like ignoring the unemployed has come back to bite them in the arse!

What part of "Need Jobs" don't these bad people understand. It is time to give them an ultamatim. They work for the people. If they work for the rich, your FIRED or Grandma will take care of you. What is so simple about this?
Time to recall every Politician that is for the rich.
