How long do you wait?
After an interview, how long do you wait for an offer or rejection? A week? Two weeks? Just wondering...

Re: How long do you wait?
I can usually tell when they interview is over if they are interested. If they say "we have a few more people to interview" or "we will give this a look over and see what we can do" then they aren't interested. I haven't had an interview in a long time so I don't know how things are now. I do see more to apply for though.

Yeah I kind of figured that. I had an interview about two weeks ago, the interviewer said it's company policy to interview 3 people. He said that he would call me last week and I haven't heard from him yet. Good thing I wrote them off and moved on.

I always make it a point to do a follow up call two days later. Thank them for the opportunity to meet them and so on. I can usually get a feel from that conversation. I also make it a point to tell them I would like a response either way as a courtesy. I have had success with that as well. Sometimes, they take as long as two months to make a decision.
