Re: Job search Methods from the BLS
First you have to have "When our the Jobs?" Cutting Job training out of the Federal Budget was a wise move, "Tan Man."
Thanks for the website. You never know who is going to call, if you don't try.
If the strikers are out sick they are not counted. If your striking your not counted. The BLS does not know how to count, because they don't count the exhaustees. By December 31,2011 they will be counting less, can they be laid off? This way someone can count them at BLS.

"Read the ( newspaper ) ads every day, particularly the Sunday edition, which usually includes the most listings."
Now you've got to be kidding. Sunday help wanted ads went out the
door with newspapers. Is the BLS still stuck in the 20th Century?
The largest local newspaper here stopped publishing help wanted
ads years ago.

The 'Help Wanted" ads here in the Sunday paper are all work at home scams and National Guard recruitment. Nothing at all for the real job seeker.
