CA Members - Question about Base Period Earnings...!
I was making $364 a month off unemployment since Apr 10 til May 11 very early on in the month. Ive been working now for almost a month and my boss told me the job will only last til Aug. I work in construction and thats his dead line. I looked at this chart http://www.getunemployment.com/monetary.html and if I file in Aug or Sept I won't even qualify for unemployment will I? because it doesn't count the quarter before the 4 base period quarters. I won't get my May or Jun money. I haven't worked in over a year before this so theres no hours. This is f*cked if I can't get a job in a few months I'll end up with less money then if I was on unemployment the whole time... Am I right? and if I am would you guys just wait til Oct to file?
