First topic message reminder :

I'm pleased to announce that I actually have a face to face interview this Wednesday. It could not of come at a better time as I am now a 99er and get my last check this week.
This position is nothing like what Ive done in the past however my Mom worked there for 12 yrs and knows the hiring manager well.

Ill be taking a 50% pay cut from my previous position if hired but it beats 99er ville.

Ill keep you folks updated. If hired I would start on 5/16/11

I've been working as contractor for a few weeks now, and I will say one thing for it (aside from the paycheck): at least you don't get caught up in the office politics...cause there ain't no future in it! Smile

Thanks! It's actually a pretty good job for contract work.

And boy, the politics are thick in this place. It's kind of like being on a reality TV show. Only you have no control over anything. And you can't compete for any rewards. And there's zero chance of you ever becoming famous, even among losers who watch reality TV shows.

OK, so it's nothing like a reality TV show. But that's probably a good thing...I hate those shows.Very Happy
