Analysis: Bin Laden's death boost Obama, but economy weighs
Osama bin Laden's death gives President Barack Obama a huge boost as he faces low poll numbers but even that may not be enough to keep Americans' minds off economic troubles that could derail the Democratic president's 2012 re-election campaign.

This will certainly help him, but the economy is more important to me.

It will boost Oboma but it just happened on his watch. This was a 10 year search. And don't for get Bill Clinton missed him and pulled the attack at the last minute.
I hope that this will spark the economy.

Actually, a comment made by Bush during his presidency has been all over twitter and in a few articles today.
He said something like, Usama Bin Laden is not a top priority and that he wasnt searching for him...will try to find a link.

As rare as it is that my unemployed friend, troycomic, and I agree with each other, I do this time to an extent.
The interrogation during the Bush years led directly to this result.
The problem is that Bush could have had Bin Laden in 2002 but diverted all the force needed to Iraq for no reason. I have said all along that this war should be fought through black ops operations instead of brute military force. This is a cheaper way and the rest of the world doesn't see what you are doing because you have no military presence. In the end the best plan was a small seal team and they just went in and got him.

Have to fed the military machine, you know! I thought it was first class for Obama to call GW as soon as he found out BL was dead. That alone will probaby drive up his ratings.
